what should i feed 2 toads smaller than my pinkie nail?
I raised them from tadpoles and they ate like pigs! Then, they just stopped eating when they turned into frogs. Can someone with experience with baby toads please tell me what to feed them?
While turning into froglets, they usually stop eating while the tail is being absorbed. Once that stage is over and they are 100% froglets, they should begin feeding again.
You need to special order Flightless Fruit Flies and Pinhead Crickets for your baby toads.
When I raised my baby toads, I bought fruit flies from http://www.silkwormshop.com and http://www.joshsfrogs.com - I bought pinhead crickets from vendors on ebay as well as http://www.nyworms.com and even from http://www.petco.com
Your baby toads may also take blood or black worms too. Try getting them at your local pet store or again, special order them online.
you can try and feed them Nat’s but you would have to put them in a in closed container if you have not already done so and you could also try wiggling a TINY peace of raw meat in front of them i do not have experience with BABY toads but i have had an american toad for over a year and in the winter i feed him raw hamburger.
i hope this helps, if not i am sorry:(
PS where did you find the eggs??

Peel a banana and leave it outside for a day. Then put it in with the toads. Fruit flies should start to emerge. Those should be about the right size for the toads.
