I’m finding a lot of little cricket toads in my yard, and I think that my bearded dragon, Garth would find them to be tasty little treats. Does anyone know if they are toxic to beardies?
"There is no such thing as a "cricket toad"."
Just because you’ve never heard the term doesn’t mean they don’t exist, Mr. Know-it-all. Where I’m from, it’s just another word for the juvenile common toad.
There is no such thing as a "cricket toad".
However, toads are toxic. They are not a good choice for a bearded dragon.
* "Common toad" is not a proper species name either, Mr. Know-it-all. You really don’t know what kind of toads you have, do you?
Are you even sure you have a bearded dragon?
idk if they are but i wouldnt feed him ones u have caught form outside cause if they have eaten something harmfull like pesdicides it could hurt ur bearded dragon if u can b them from a pet store i would there only like 2 dollars and u can ask them if its safe to feed to ur bearded

Bad idea. Parasites, pesticides, bones, unknown nutrition content, unknown toxicity. I wouldn’t be prepared to risk the life of my animal on it.
