Toad the Wet Sprocket- All I want Album:Fear (1991)
Nothings so loud
As hearing when we lie
The truth is not kind
And youve said neither am i
But the air outside so soft is saying everything
Everything
All I want is to feel this way
To be this close, to feel the same
All I want is to feel this way
The evening speaks, I feel it say…
Nothings so cold
As closing the heart when all we need
Is to free the soul
But we wouldnt be that brave I know
And the air outside so soft, confessing everything
Everything
And it wont matter now
Whatever happens to me
Though the air speaks of all well never be
It wont trouble me
And it feels so close
Let it take me in
Let it hold me so
I can feel it say…

No kiddin, who came …
No kiddin, who came up with that list? White Snake, The Doors and Creed are accutally a few of the most popular bands not the worst bands, whoever came up with that list was an idiot. This Song ROCKs
Time creeps up on …
Time creeps up on us. But this song is a timeless masterpeice. Unfortunate that is was not as popular as it should have been. It deserves air time even by today’s standards.
Gotta watch out for saying thing’s like “ya don’t hear much music like this from today’s artist!” That is something our dads would have said. LOL. However I agree with you. Love The Outfield as well.
I don’t have a clue …
I don’t have a clue as to what a hollaback girl is, but I want it killed.
Oh those are good …
Oh those are good choices because Fall Out Girl and Tyler Slow definitely suck and so do Puff Mama, Gay-Z, Smelly Nelly, Ja Fool, Lude Crest, Dick Cannon, Big Kim, The Talentless Rihanna, Beyond Shame, 89 Degrees, Amy Whinewhore, Paris Hill Hoe, Lindsey Low Hoe, and Anvil Lavender just to name a few. Toad The Wet Sprocket was listed as #49 of the 50 worst artist of all time! The list also included #41 White Snake, #37 The Doors and #23 Creed. Who the came up with that list?
okay good.
let’s …
okay good.
let’s see. fall out boy & TAYLOR SWIFT
Alright you win I …
Alright you win I will take her off my list under one condition. I need a few suggestions of who should I add to my revised list of terrible “Artist” and “Musicians.”
so what about her …
so what about her new music?
when she plays with no doubt like this year. she’s just her own self.
beautiful voice
beautiful voice
I actually like No …
I actually like No Doubt and listened to them when they were still underground and before they went mainstream. I think they had really good music that appealed to a mass audience. Then Gwen Stefani went solo in 2004 and her new “Music” is all a bunch of digital dance crap that 13 year old girls would listen to and not the music for her true loyal fans that supported her and No Doubt.
WHOA WHOA WHOA. …
WHOA WHOA WHOA. diss everybody else, but gwen stefani?
she’s amazing.
no doubt started in the 80′s. come on.
People need to …
People need to realize that truly good music is timeless and relevant even 30 years later. So called music like J-Hoe, Miley Virus, Hillary Muff, The Lip Syncing Simpson’s, Stinky Pinky, Gwen Step-on-me, Brittany Queers, The Jonas Homos, Flusher, Chrissy The Sissy Brown, In-Stink, Street Boys, Feminine M, Fifteen Cents, The Notorious D.O.A., 2 Punk, and all of the other generic Disney songs, corporate sponsored American Idol garbage, and West Side Gangster Crap is not real music.

RINI329,
Yes, 18 years ago! A LITERAL lifetime for many on YouTube! How time flies!
Let’s just be happy for the fortunate few – like several on this vid – that are in that age bracket who actually realize that much of the music from 1975-1995 is the best ever, while much of today’s music is sonic garbage. Congrats on your good taste, kids! Maybe the parents who raised you on that wonderful music deserve a bit of credit, huh?
Ha! I was just …
Ha! I was just thinking the same thing. When I read how she considers this an oldie I think my face dropped. Oldies to me are the 50′s and 60′s, too. Guess it is all in perspective…does feel like yesterday I was listening to this song as a preteen. Wow! 18 years ago already?
Im not MrBizzy im …
Im not MrBizzy im his 46 yr old mom and yes they sound like REM. No matter love the song
I’ve loved this …
I’ve loved this song for years, should have put it my Favorites long ago. I doubt the band or anyone else would object if I said the sound seems very influenced by REM. I doubt REM could have done this song any better, especially the harmonies.
A truly beautiful …
A truly beautiful song..love it.
Still one of my …
Still one of my favorite bands.
I love you Scottina.

this song is Flawless period
This song reminds …
This song reminds me of the movie Fortress; staring Christopher Lanburge. It reminds me of the scene when they’re in prison.
haha that message …
haha that message was from my little sister. she thinks its old cause i like it. but yeah anaosiris09 “me” i am 18 yrs. and i got to say music from the 70′s 80′s and early 90′s is some of the best. music now has no or little meaning, because most of it is not written by the singer. i like some recent artist. but the best are 70-90! =)

ANAOSIRIS09 –
Haha! Oldies music! To me , oldies are from the ’50s! This song is like last year to me! Actually, the song IS 18years old: probably literally “a lifetime ago” for you!
It’s just all about perspective.
For me – while I think of this song as ‘recent history’ – this is still an amazing song, with tight, lush harmonies and a meaningful message.
Ya don’t hear much music like THIS from today’s artists!
P.S. I also love The Outfield and their harmonies as well.
this group and the …
this group and the outfield are my favorite from the oldies music
<3 All i want…
amazing melody and …
amazing melody and rhythm, lyrics so sad though… air so soft, sounds everything in place, except perhaps the two of you…sings of so much feelings – loving, wanting, accepting, longing
i could listen to this song constantly for 2 years!!!
