okay theres no easy way to say this but all you stupid americans this is an australian issue so go have your toads at home as pets but over here we kill the bastereds cus they kill all of our native animals. theres now a nice population of green tree frogs that sing for me every morning at my place and hardly any toads i murder them violently but quickly cheaply and afficiantly .

That’s not the …
That’s not the point. It’s an invasive species. Do you know what that means? I means that it’s a kind of animal introduced into an ecosystem that can’t handle it. Nothing predates cane toads in Australia, and they’re eating way more resources than the system can give. If we didn’t try to cut their numbers down, several other species would go extinct. So yes, it’s our fault.. but we’re not killing them because they’re more numerous than us.
