will they live fine together, or is it a bad idea?
NO! DO NOT MIX FROGS EVER! Firebellied Toads are VERY TOXIC! They would kill the greens if they didn’t eat them first! Frogs will eat anything that moves, whether they should or not. All frogs are toxic to each other.

I think it would be alright because when I had a bunch of fire belly toads, I would go out and catch normal toads and put them in the same cage and they got along fine.

NOT a good idea.

GTF (green Tree frog) caresheet: http://www.amphibiancare.com/frogs/caresheets/greentreefrog.html
Any research any your part regarding mixing species will give you dozens of reasons why it is a bad idea.
A few: frogs from different areas carry different diseases and disease resistance, the FBT’s and GTF’s come literally from different sides of the world and many in the pet trade are wild caught – a fact that increases the issues exponentially.
Different needs – the FBT’s like and need far more and deeper water than the GTF’s, as a matter of fact the amount needed by the FBT’s can be a drowning hazard to the GTF’s.
Cage size/dimensions – FBT’s need a larger footprint the GTF’s need more height.
This proposed pairing could work in terms of temps, humidity would likely be an issue – the amount needed by the GTF’s would likely cause a bacterial bloom in the substrate which would be harmful for both. It could be done with frogs and toads that have been treated but you are still risking cannibalism issues that cross species which often leads to death….all in all not a good idea.
