I would like to clean out my bigger tank. I have had a couple of firebelly toads in it, but unfortunately the other day igo in and one was dead floating on top of his water pool. so i have just the one, i would like to put another frog in that tank, so he has room to grow, he is a bull frog, but i am not really shure how to clean it after the firebelly toads have been in there, i have heard that they have many toxins. and what not. any suggestions will be helpful.
a solution of bleach and water is fine, just rinse it out real well, then wahs it again with soap and water, the rinse and then wash it again with just water
frogs soak up water through their skin, so if there is ANY residue the bull frog will probly get sick,, but if you wash it thoroghly, it will be fine
yes no matter what u should clean it thoroughly so that the new frog feels like he is in a unused enviroment..it will mane him/her WAYWAY more comfortable

I would suggest cleaning it thoroughly with a strong bleach solution, then rinsing it well with clear water, then wipe with a clean cloth or paper towels. When you are finished cleaning it, let it air out for a little while before setting it up for subsequent use.
