how can you tell the difference between toad tadpoles and frog tadpoles?


if i’m not mistaken toad tadpoles are arranged in a string and the frogs is clumped together

    a toads lives mostly on land and has dry rough bumpy skin ,,a frog needs to be near and in water most of the day and has smooth slimey skin …FACT

    You don’t. You would have to be familiar with the look of the specific breed and its tadpole.

    PS: Maybe Answers doesn’t have such a catagory, but just in case, frogs and toads are amphibians, not reptiles.

    Difficult one – Id keep an eye on who layed the eggs – If it was a toad – odds on they will be toad tadpoles emerging from the said eggs . Eggs laid by a frog however are a totally different proposition .

    toads live on land—frogs live in the water—toads don,t have tadpoles–a tadpole or polliwog–is from a frog—no legs–never leave the water until they get legs!!—a baby toad–looks like—a baby toad!!
