i find toads and frogs to be fascinating creatures, why are most people grossed by them?

that is a bit of an over generalization, but I do know what you mean. Most/many people know little about amphibians and we tend to fear what we don’t know, plus many folks still remember being a kid and trying to pick up aa toad or frog and getting a hand full of pee

I think frogs and toads are adorable. They have those large eyes and wide smiling faces.
I’ve always enjoyed catching toads outside. I stopped trying to catch frogs because I don’t want to hurt their skin.
