Why is the cricket frog important to humans? What will happen if they become exinct? How can we as humans help save the cricket frog?

The endangered species act does not allow us to determine whether a species is beneficial to humans or not before the act can be used to save a species from extinction. Of course, if mosquitoes become endangered, then our lawmakers may make an exception. :)
