I’m excited. ^-^ Can’t wait for more 2-d! I got a feelin’ it’s gonna do well in theaters.

    I can’t tell if …
I can’t tell if you’re trying to say that Phineas and Ferb is bad or not… Because it’s one of the best shows Disney Channel’s had in years. :/

  5. sahnelappen says:

    finally they didn’t …
finally they didn’t kill all their 2d animateurs *g*

  6. aku192 says:

    Good point, but may …
Good point, but may I point out that Anastasia is NOT by Disney. it’s by 20th Century Fox.

  7. aku192 says:

    No, actually i …
No, actually i don’t know about the whole Lion King deal (which i couldn’t care less about). I only heard that the movie was INSPIRED by Hamlet (obviously) and some other stories, according to disney.

  8. penguinhater says:

    IDK, the Lion King …
IDK, the Lion King was “loosely” based on Kimba the White Lion, and you see how they treated people who noticed *that.*

  9. hucklebuckle1990 says:

    FINALLY a 2D …
    FINALLY a 2D animated film!

  10. Cresantstar says:

    wow Cree summer Got …
wow Cree summer Got a Role in this..

  11. KaitTheBandit says:

    i was a little iffy …
i was a little iffy about this movie at first. i thought they were basically remaking the classic tale just to put more ethnic diversity into the disney princesses. but this movie looks so good, its not the same story, it has a twist. now i really want to see it.

  12. XChibiChloeX says:

    How the can …
How the can you compare Anime to Disney? As said before, you can’t compare an industry to one company. oh and Disney isn’t . It’s great so is anime. 3D sucks big time, you fool.

  13. Chradnev says:

    No, it’s not.
    And …

    No, it’s not.
And the voice actor is from Brazil.

  14. Chradnev says:

    I think you’re a …
I think you’re a little mixed up. Disney killed their 2D animation department in 2004. When John Lasseter from Pixar became the new boss in 2006, he brought back 2D animation and this is 2D’s big revival at Disney. They have a few more 3D films in production already, but if The Princess and the Frog does really well then 2D will be back in a big way. That’s why everyone needs to see this!

  15. RetroNoodles says:

    everyone love 2D …
everyone love 2D animation. end of story. most 3D animated characters are extremely exaggerated beyond all good taste even or artistic standards………and just…..ugh. i think we can blame their lack of good animated movies ….on the fact their spendin more time making shows like fineas the ferb.. x____X

    im just happy …
im just happy disney finally came up with a black princess… after years of nothing but every other ethinicity but black… jasmine, pochahantas, anastasia, and lets not forget the classic cinderella, snow white, belle, etc. it feels good to have a character that is not an animal the entire movie (lion king) to represent black people in america. I dont expect everyone to understand… but those who do… i know u feel me. 2009- year of the black president and the black princess.

  17. Animefreek123 says:

    I think 3D movies …
I think 3D movies are pretty good. but I agree that Disney should stick with 2D.

  18. Doggirl22221 says:

    Actually, i heard …
Actually, i heard disney is making this fairy tale called The Snow Queen a 2-D movie! And alan menkin is doing the music. they’re also another winnie the pooh film which may be 2-D.

  19. flashwithwave says:

    I can explain …
I can explain Ariel’s hair- She’s underwater, that’s why it’s so huge. And I guess her eyes are odd because she’s part fish, but I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on that.

I love the 2D animation! Maybe they’ll do away with all the recent rubbish they’ve been making and go back to being the Disney we all know and love. It’s like there are two Disneys- The 2D animation Disney, and the one that brought us Hannah Montanna and High school Musical *shudder*

  20. lauramart10 says:

    Too bad this is …
Too bad this is their last 2D animation. : ( After this one they’re going for the Pixar look (check out the Rapuzel movie). -cries herself to sleep- Whyyy!

  21. marikesl says:

    the princess looks …
the princess looks like cinderella at the ball in the brandy movie-version!

  22. NamelessATM says:

I am so happy that …
I am so happy that disney decided to come back to 2D animation! This is what they are REALLY good at, and really, I prefer all the 2D animation films that I grew up with than the ty 3D movies that are nowadays.

Also, I REALLY hope that movie will succeed and be a hit, because if that will happen = more 2D animation movies, and who knows, maybe they will make in the future movies as good as their 1989-1994 era.
If it will fail in the theaters, we will probably won’t see more 2D movies soon.

  23. hollykmck says:

    Does anyone know …
Does anyone know what that music is?? When this trailer first came out, I put it on my ipod and would just listen to it because I loved the music so much.

I can’t wait for this movie ^_^ I LOVE 2-D animation it’s about time they brought it back :D . I don’t hate the bulgy cartoons but I grew up with 2-D animation. Can you imagine growing up without it o_o ?
