I wouldn't advise it unless you want to make the frog or toad a turtle snack.I dont think tht it will make it sick but the turtle might try to eat it and choke. so basically that's a no, DO NOT PUT AMPHIBIANS IN WITH TURTLES. If you would like another animal to put in with your turtle i would suggest another turtle, if your turtles a male get a female, males can be kind of agressive to each other and in the end you will have separate them. to females are also fine.

dont do it, the turtle will eat the frogs, the frog probably hav a toxin level in their skin that will upset the turtle and or the water. if they are toads then they will drown without a place to get up on.
References :
frog, toad, turtle owner :)

Comment on What is the difference in frog and toad tadpoles? by Calimecita

Cal King has already given you a good answer!
The problem with distinguishing toads from frogs is that, while "toad" is the common name usually given to the members of the family Bufonidae, the term "frog" is applied to many different families that can be quite different in appearance.

The true Bufonidae toads usually lay their eggs in shallow waters; thus, the relatively flattened body and low tail fins of the tadpoles reflect their habitat (in contrast, other tadpoles have stronger, deeper tails and more laterally placed eyes).
But there are many variations in size, proportions and colors among tadpoles - so if you really want to know the species of a tadpole, you need to look at its mouthparts (not easy unless you have a good magnifying glass or stereoscopic microscope).
Below you'll find an online identification key for anuran (toad and frog) tadpoles of the US and Canada. I hope it's useful!

*******
EDIT: advanced tadpoles will look more similar to their adult counterparts as their metamorphosis advances - so if you find individuals with fully developed arms and legs, you'll probably be able to tell if they resemble a particular species.
References :
http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/tadpole/

Bufonid toads or "true toads" have tadpoles that are generally rotund, with a rather short tail, and eyes near the top of the head instead of to the sides.
References :
Keeping any amphibian when you don't know what species it is and you haven't researched it is a bad idea.
Mixing species that you don't know about is an even worse idea.
Baby frogs and toads are notoroiously difficult to care for, even for experienced amphibian keepers. Please listen to the first answer.
References :
What sort of frog/toad? Some are fully aquatic, some are semi aquatic, some are terrestrial. Basically, we need to know what species to tell you how to care for it.

let it go. You don't even know what species it is, you're not going to be able to care for it properly, its only going to die on you! If you want a pet frog choose a species, learn to care for it and buy one in the pet shop!
References :
If it is a OOAK (one of a kind) sculpture, you might not be able to get any further information, sorry. I've searched a bit and found nothing. The closest I came is this one:
http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/timeless080/items/Jody_Bergsma_Dancing_Fairy_Frog_Prince_Bronze_Figurine_unique_807238
which is not what you mentioned, but IS kind of cool.
References :
as far as loneliness goes no worries a frog dosent have the brain capacity to feel lonely. here is the issue with adding another frog. firebellys tent to be more towards the toxic end of pet frogs. it is because of this that makes the mainly only compatible with eachother. i was in the same situation as you a few months ago and here is what i did.......i researched found a slightly more difficult frog being the green tree frog and
bought it for around 160 cage supplies included. so sorry you cant give yor fbt another friend other then one of its own.
References :
frog owner

You're torturing it! You don't know anything about it, you can't take care of it. You're already killing it!
Let it go! It'll be lucky if it ever recovers.
References :
I'm very good at telling the difference between a frog and toad, but you just described what could be either. Both are small, come in brown, and release liquid.
