And can they roam free in the house?
Honestly, if I were you I wouldn’t get a pet toad because they are not used to a closed environment such as a house. They need to be kept in a water filled habitat.
Are there any problems with owning a pet toad?
How to unlock toad houses on super mario bros for DS?

To acess the toad Houses, you have to pay 5 Star Coins to remove the sign. Find them in the levels.
To access cannons, you have to find secret exits in levels - that first one in the image is accessed from a secret exit in the Tower.
I found a toad in my house during winter in illinois, if I put it outside will it die or should I try to keep?
it till Spring time. Really not sure how the heck the little guy got into the house in the first place? If I keep it what will I need? Thank you
I deal with reptiles I have a five foot python and study all animals. so! you have a toad well if you want to keep it you must like animals, reptiles. well first of all,if you put the toad out side no it will not die.WHY? im glad you asked.when winter time comes. A lot of the reptiles have a natural antifreeze in their system that puts them in a hibernation mode. For example, garter snakes, bees, spiders, and frogs. For example: If you put a garter snake in your freezer, it will freeze, but come back to life when you put it outside in the warmth. If you want to keep it, get a reptile bedding. You can buy this at the pet store. It would be something like Aspen or Cedar mulch. It comes in a bag and isn’t very expensive. You can use a fish tank. Just be careful, because toads can get big. Put a little water in there in an old tupperware bowl and feed it crickets or freeze dried moths. You can also buy at the pet store. Keep the tank between 75 and 80. Use an inexpensive stick on thermometer. If you use a heat lamp, keep it on one side of the tank and the water on the other side. Any other help you need, you can ask a pet store. If it seems too hard, throw it outside. It will live unless eaten by something bigger.
Can’t get to the World 3 castle on Mario Bros Wii?
We have beat 3-4 and 3-5, hit the red switch and recieved the star from the yellow toad house, but the path the the world 3 castle will not open up. We have now beat 3-4 and 3-5 at least 5 times a piece with no luck. How do we unlock the castle?
The answer lies in 3-4. You must go through the pipe which brings you out to another competion flag to grab onto. I recommend going through the pipe AFTER you have hit the switch for the red blocks. In other words, the second time through this level.
Where to place a Lucky Money Toad?
I have a Lucky Money toad that I want to place properly, unfortunately there’s a whole lot of debate on where it should go. Some people say it needs to face the door of your house, others say that if it is too close to the door it symbolizes money LEAVING the house, which is not the desired effect.
Which is right?
I have an apartment with a small door way, and a sliding glass door almost diagonally across the apartment from it ( not including walls ).
Thanks!!
Place the frog within view of your front or main door to invite money and luck in. Turn it backwards during the night, to prevent this newly earned money and luck from going away.
Which way should a wealth toad point?
I want it in the hallway should it be outside pointing towards the house ? Or in the hallway pointing outwards?
It should be as close as possible to the doorway and it should most definitely be pointing inwards towards the house, otherwise your wealth flows out.
So Says Feng Shui anyway.
Could it be Toads? I have been noticing little turds around our house.?
The only thing I can imagine it to be is toad poop but it is like and inch long. Seems to big to come out of the toad. I have seen some chatter on this just wandering if anyone else has a clue? Could it be snakes that are eating the toads?
It’s me, sorry, I’ll try not to poop in your house anymore.
Ever have your dog or cat eat one of your reptiles?
The other day my cat knocked my fire bellied toad’s tank down. The toad is missing now and I searched all over my house. This type of toad is semi-poiseness but not deadly. If this has happened to you please explain what happened to your cat or dog.
Never had an animal eat a semi poisonous animal, but my dog did once chew up my box turtle. Poor little girl had to be super glued back together and on antibiotics for a while. I would check with your vet and keep a close eye on your cat. While they may not be deadly to humans, your kitty is much smaller than you and the amount of toxins ingested may still be dangerous. Even if your cat didn’t eat the toad but just mouthed or pawed it, it still could have ingested some of the toxins. Good luck
fire belly toad question. 10 ez points.?
how many fire belly toads can you house in a 10 gallon tank? also how do u sex them? give me as much info as u can. thank u so much.
I wouldn’t keep more than two FBTs in a cage of that size. That’s actually pushing it for me. It’s difficult to get a proper heat gradient in any tank smaller than 20 gallons. In a 20 gallon tank, however, I would say 4, maybe five toads could be housed comfortably.
Some care sheets will allow for up to 4 toads in a 10 gallon tank. In my opinion, this is a mistake. They aren’t as territorial as some species of amphibian, but they can still have aggression issues. When you have too many of them in a small area, they can fight, or a dominant toad can intimidate other toads into erratic behavior or even into not eating.
If you are going to keep more than one in a 10 gallon, make sure to watch them carefully. If one toad is growing and another is staying small, or behaving aggressively or unreasonably afraid, you may need to separate them.
The other major issue with a tank that small is that, as I mentioned, it’s hard to get a good heat gradient, which all reptiles and amphibians need to be able to perform natural functions properly. For instance, they often need a specific temperature to digest their food after they’ve eaten. A whole different one is needed for them to rest properly, etc.
Frog / Toad. What to do?????
Ok, I’ve had some frogs comming into my house (maybe toads - I dunno the difference). I don’t really mind - in fact I quite like them.
Anyway I put them out side because I thought they’d die inside (I do often find dryed up frogs around). But they just keep comming back in. I don’t want them to die, but they clearly like it here.
So, at the moment he’s in a small plasic box with a bit of water. It was a bit upset at first but now it’s calmed down. I don’t know if this means it’s happy to be there - or if it’s just got used to it.
What should I do?
Taking it farther from the house and release it would be number 1.
In order to keep it in captivity you would need to find out what species it is and do a little research on it. I assume it is a toad (matches the description you give). You could get a 20 gallon long aquarium and screen lid (a 10 gallon may work depending on the species) you want to use peat and Sphagnum moss mix as the bedding to encourage humidity and digging by the toad. You will also want a large easy accessable water dish. Give the toad places to hide such as under rocks or logs. And feed it red worms, and crickets about every other day.
